Civics Quarter One .. I chose my Section 1 quiz to be my selected piece of civics work on my wiki because I thought I did very well on this quiz.
I tried my best on this quiz as I do on all of them. Hopefully grades like this one will keep appearing on all my quizzes and tests.
This year I will study a few days before the quiz or test that way I am prepared for it. I also make flash cards to make studying fun.
I study out loud and not in my head that way it's easier to understand.
Quarter Two .. I chose this quiz because one, I got a 90 and two, I got the bonus(: This quiz was on the advertisement commercials for running president. There were many of them so studying was a bit challenging, remember all the different types of commercials and which videos were which. This was the first quiz we had to watch videos which helped us define our answers. I thought it was easier and a nice format for a quiz. Even thought its not a 100, I'm still happy. I know I tried my hardest. I also know that if I keep this up then I will get 100s(:
Quarter Three ..
I posted this as my Civics work for this quarter because I think I did really well on this paper. I got a 4 and smiley:) Mrs. Horton even made good comments on some of my paragraphs. This essay was on Obama's Inauguration and how he succeeded. On this essay I used the live Inauguration during class, newspaper articles, and quotes by him. They helped me go the extra yard to make my essay well worth it. I think I achieved with the grade I got. Hopefully I continue and keep up the hard work.
Quarter Four ..
I picked this piece of work for my last quarter Civics work because it was an easy check plus. We had done this after a quiz with the substitute that had been filling in for Mrs. Horton, Mrs. Zanni. She always makes us laugh. She had been our Social Studies teacher in the sixth grade, so it was nice to have her back teaching us for a level. This piece of work had been difficult to comprehend inthe beginning, but after seeing how it worked and understanding it, it was easy and fun to do. You had to read the quesiton adn then figure out the answer by the letters underneath. Hopefully we get more fun worksheets like this one before the school year ends.
